Status Correction

Paperwork with quill

"The pen is mightier than the sword"

The power to reclaim your birthright status as an American begins with putting pen to paper and completing a simple process to record and publish your declaration as an American State National or American State Citizen.

For more education on correcting your status, go to:

https://tasa.americanstatenationals.org/chart-your-course/

If you have any questions, please send an email to:

alabama-recorder1@mail.americanstatenationals.us

Please self-govern and educate yourself on status correction. Once you have decided to complete the process, fill out and submit the Contact State Coordinator Form at:

https://states.americanstatenationals.org/state-coordinators/

Be sure to include the County you are on, your email, and phone number. After you have completed the Contact State Coordinator Form, click on the red box below that says "Next Step: Correct Your Status."

You may complete the paperwork yourself or go to: https://www.mystatusselect.com/

This business is owned by a member of The New Mexico Assembly and has processed thousands of status corrections. They will acquire your information and send your documents to you, ready to be recorded.

You can have your documents notarized by a Notary Public or by one of our Alabama Assembly Recording Secretaries. Just be sure to use the correct notary block on your documents, if doing them on your own.

Recording and Publishing Your Documents

You have three options:

  1. For documents notarized by a Notary Public, mail your documents to your assigned recording secretary.

  2. "Online Witness." Make an appointment to do an "online witness" with your assigned recording secretary. Make sure you have a photo I.D. Your assigned recording secretary will contact you to set up an agreed time, date, and send you a video meeting link.

  3. Meet in person. The Recording Secretary can agree to a time and place to meet close to where they live. Please bring a large self-addressed pre-paid envelope so we can safely mail your original documents back to you after being published.

Mailing Your Documents

When you are ready to send your documents, include a large self-addressed pre-paid envelope so we can return your original documents once they have been notarized or recorded and published.

After this process has been completed, never give your original documents to anyone. Only send copies.

Store your documents in a safe place, preferably in a fireproof envelope or safe. â€‹â€‹â€‹
